The Iowa Cubs had their wings clipped by the Buffalo Bisons (Blue Jays), 2-0 in a game that ended in the bottom of the fifth inning because of rain.
Dan Straily starting in his first game in the Cubs organization in a decade. Straily had some control issues but was otherwise OK. He took the loss after giving up two runs, one earned, on three hits over 3+ innings. All three hits and both runs came in the fourth inning.
